Who can use this DPS?

Any UK public sector organisation can access and use the DPS, including NHS Trusts, ICBs, local authorities, and other public bodies.

How are apps assured for safety and quality?

All apps must pass the ORCHA Baseline Review and maintain a minimum score of 65%. Apps are reassessed if significant changes occur or as part of ongoing review cycles.

Can new suppliers join the DPS?

Yes. Suppliers can apply to join the DPS at any point during its lifetime by completing the Selection Questionnaire (SQ) via the Atamis portal.

What happens if an app changes after being listed?

Major product changes trigger reassessment to ensure continued compliance with assurance requirements.

Does inclusion on the DPS guarantee clinical effectiveness?

The DPS provides assurance around safety, compliance, and quality. Commissioners remain responsible for ensuring local suitability and alignment with clinical pathways and population needs.
